With its hinged design, the Lateral Folding Transfer Board is beneficial for the transfer of patients who find it difficult to lie flat or suffer from breathing difficulties.

These boards are designed to assist in the lateral transfer of patients and are NOT intended for lifting. They should only be used to bridge a gap of 15cm max between the surfaces and therefore they do not carry a maximum safe working load limit.
