The EMS Bariatric EvacMat offers a range of extra advanced features surpass the standard EvacMat, therefore making it ideal for safe and efficient bariatric patient evacuation. It includes a replaceable two-piece sliding board, to give enhanced durability and longevity. An internal pocket allows for the insertion of a spinal board if required.
The EMS EvacMat enables rescue teams to safely slide plus-sized individuals, including down staircases, without the need for heavy lifting. Has multiple anchor points offering the option of using ropes for more controlled stair descents.

The EMS EvacMat also incorporates large side wings and color-coded cross straps that securely cocoon the individual and hold their body weight in place. The head and side ladder handles allow for multiple rescuers to maintain contact, thereby promoting good posture and reducing the risk of injury to personnel.

Other notable features include color-coded low and high positioning handles, extra loose ladder handles that can be attached to various anchor points, an internal pillow, and a slide sheet for easier patient transfers.
