Bariatric Empathy Suit

Do you want to brush up your skills to safely care for larger-sized patients?

The Bariatric Empathy Suit allows nursing staff to develop the specialist skills required to safely manage a bariatric patient. It will help you to simulate realistic scenarios in bariatric care and you can experience how movements are influenced by weight.

Description

The Bariatric Empathy Suit is an obesity simulation suit to be worn by nursing and medical staff during manual handling education sessions.
Allows the staff to practice realistically without endangering themselves with excessive lifting.

  • Suit is comprised of 3 realistic body sections (arms, torso and legs). Has additional attachments that enable users to alternate between the 2 different shapes of a bariatric patient, an ‘apple’ and a ‘pear.
